I had the pleasure of photographing Amal & Mohamed Nikkah (Islamic Wedding) ceremony at Amal’s parents’ house yesterday. This was the kick-off event of their 3-day wedding weekend. I couldn’t wait to share a few highlights from their first day of the wedding-weekend. Here are some of my favorites.

This is also the first time I had a chance to collaborate with my friend Sumaira (www.looksbysumaira.net) who is an up an coming make up artist in the greater Sacramento area.
