How fortunate I am to have this opportunity!
Photographing life wasn’t something I planned to do. But I can tell you that it completed me as a person. I have travelled across the ocean, moving from a busy city of millions to the simplicity of the midwest to study math and computers. While my career in technology stimulated my intellect, photography allowed me to discover the personal and emotional connections that were otherwise missing. I don’t know what’s more rewarding – the opportunity of witnessing love and documenting life through images, or making lasting relationships with the people who let me in to their lives for this reason. I wouldn’t give up either one.
There isn’t a charming story about my first camera or how I began to take pictures of random strangers. I was simply inspired by the idea of weddings, family and happiness. I want my photographs to capture people in their most joyful moments so they will always remember the times that touched them the most. I’m honored to be a part of their lives, I’m thankful for this gift of passion and I’m grateful to have an amazing life to live and cherish these experiences in.
