A Warm Welcome!

Greetings and welcome to my hand-spun blog+site. My photography journey has been incredible! It began with fun, then grew into passion, then I discovered profound love for it and there was no looking back. Five years later, I have this custom site to showcase what I love doing so much, the art of capturing life just the way I see it. Please look around, this site is a reflection of me. Enjoy exploring it.

Midtown Sacramento Engagement: Veronica + Rob

It started at R15, about six years ago. Lots of memories were made since then – jokes, laughs and funny moments that brought this couple even closer over years. He popped the question high up in the air, literally. He planned a hot air balloon trip in Napa to bring out the ring and ask her to be his forever. She said “yes” and then, there was so looking back.

Six years later we met at R15 where it all started for them. They were sporting out uber cool outfits representing their love for baseball. The day way great, colors were vibrant and the couple was incredibly fun. They brought Thomas (their dog) along with them for the part of the shoot when we headed to Capitol park for the pictures. Veronica and Rob’s engagement session totally got me pumped up for their winery wedding in September. I had such a great time photographing the fun moments and love the couple shares. I can hardly wait to see how gorgeous they will be on her big day at the Old Sugar Mill!

Violet’s Birthday Portraits: Old Sacramento Children Photography

I still remember Amanda and Tim’s big day! I remember walking around the garden, capturing their special moments! A few years later, I got the opportunity to photograph their beautiful baby girl Violet. I was anxious about for this session, for one, I love making memories, and the second, I had only seen her pictures and couldn’t wait to meet miss little Violet in person! She was simply adorable with her big smiles, dimples and big wide eyes. And how could I miss those cute curls! She was a doll!

I had a great time catching up with Amanda and Tim while walking around Old Sacramento with them for Violet’s very first birthday portraits. I was reminded again why I do what I do. Like I said before, I love making memories, especially when I get the opportunity to document life as it evolves.

Happy First Birthday, Violet! You are beautiful and charming just like your parents are!

Roseville Newborn Photography: Nathaniel

The joy of being a photographer is the ability to capture life as it evolves. From weddings to families and newborns; this opportunity is unmatchable.

I was anxious to meet baby Nathaniel from his day one. Finally we met on the day 9 for his newborn session. Katie and Sean, his proud parents, looked complete holding Nate in their arms. Nate’s eyes were wide open, as if he was taking in all the attention he could get at the time. I was so happy and thrilled to have captured Nate’s newborn photos that I hope his parents will cherish forever.

Engagement Photography at the Sacramento Capitol Park: Lucky + Dilpreet

A couple weekends ago Lucky and Dilpreet drove down to Sacramento for their engagement session. We have been planning this session for the past two months, but weather was delaying this from happening. Finally we met up and had a great time shooting around the Sacramento Capitol Park.

Lucky is extremely photogenic who I doesn’t knows how to take a bad picture. She was simply gorgeous and worked the camera. Not a bit of her nervousness shows through the pictures. Dilpreet was super supportive of her. I could certainly appreciate the man Lucky had in her life to carry her through the ups and downs. He was having fun, putting her at ease and simply bringing out the best in her. Lucky and Dilpreet were naturally beautiful.

Thank you, Lucky and Dilpreet, for coming down all the way for this session. I wish you two the very best for your upcoming wedding…I know you two will be fabulous on your wedding day…XO

Sacramento Wedding Photography: Avie + Vini Wedding Reception

Avie and Vini ended their 3 day long wedding festivities with a super fun wedding reception. Vini was dressed with crystal from top to bottom; every spec of her outfit had shiny crystals all over. The gorgeous couple graced the evening by walking in to the reception hall with a classic Indian movie song that I actually grew up listening to many many times. Fond memories rushed back to me right away!

Avie and Vini – I couldn’t be anuy happier for you. You two are incredible and I wish you a world of happiness ahead…

Many THANKS to Stacey Marsh, my new photographer friend, who help me photograph this wedding. Also to my husband for coming down to help me at the reception…I definitely needed that help
