Greetings and welcome to my hand-spun blog+site. My photography journey has been incredible! It began with fun, then grew into passion, then I discovered profound love for it and there was no looking back. Please look around, the pictures here are the reflections of how I see the world. Enjoy exploring it.

Indian Bridal: Folsom, Roseville wedding photographer

Recently I collaborated with up and coming makeup artist in town Sumaira, and hair stylist and henna artist Minal to put together a modern Indian bridal concept. It was a super cold day but our brave and beautiful models gave it all to make this shoot a success. Sumaira is a great makeup artist, check out her work at Bridal looks by Sumaira. Not to forget Minal of Bridal Henna Beauty by Minal, who did a beautiful job with the hair and I have to say that I was impressed with her fast hand with henna. She literally had 5 minutes to work on some beautiful designs.

We used a parking garage in downtown Folsom for the location. Our beautiful models Nicole, Ashmine and Sharimen were gorgeous in their traditional Indian outfit. The concept was to shoot a bridal session in an urban setting and introduce south Asian brides to a new look and style. We hope to bring out more in the future…this is just the beginning…

Check out the images. Many thanks our friend Sheila Kabir for lending the outfits and to Sumaira, Minal, Nicole, Ashmine and Sharimen for this collaborative effort. Enjoy!

2010 has been one of the craziest years of my life and today we mark the beginning of another decade. My life has changed in ten years, I can’t wait to see what the next ten will bring to life. I welcomed 2011 with my man watching a spectacular fireworks show right by the Bay Bridge in my favorite city San Francisco. Waking up in the city, taking a morning walk by the way with a cup of coffee has to be a great first morning of the year. And now I’m blogging from Santa Cruz using one incredible invention of the last decade, my iPhone. I’m excited to see what technology gives us in 2011.
